St Mary's 4 - New Testament 1
The Saint Mary's Eagles (6-6) beat New Testament on Monday, November 19th 4-0.
The team's offensive production was evenly distributed with four different players scoring. Sophmore Justin Morrison '13 scored the first goal off a pass from senior captain Donquor Bloomfield '10. Captain David Jasukonis '10 scored the second goal of the game. Jasukonis then helped Bloomfield to get the third goal of the match. And finally, senior Adam Filewicz '10 scored an unassisted goal to close the score at 4-0.
The defense also played solid with seniors Pawel Gawedzki '10, Aaron Going '10, Travis Van Dale '10, Buddy Hayfron '10, Elias Karas '10 and junior Paul Chojnowski '11 to allow goaltender Carlos D'Olivera to earn his 2nd shutout of the season. Junior D'Olivera stopped 9 shots in the win.
The red and white return to action on Tuesday, October 20th against the Maimonades at Murray Park (Portsmouth Park) in Allston, MA. The game will begin at 6PM.
